Dear School Bus Parents,
All students that are eligible for school bus service to and from school must apply for a bus pass every year.
If your children are eligible and wish to make use of Transportation services for the 2014-2015 school year please complete a Bus Pass application at the Transportation Office, 540 Canyon Del Rey, Monterey, CA. Applications are also available on our website. Applications must be submitted every school year whether you have had a bus pass before or not. Bus passes for the last school year are no longer valid.
Transportation annual service is $200.00 for the first student, $160.00 for the second student and $120.00 for the third student. You may pay half the amount when you apply and the second half is due in January, at the beginning of the second semester. If you choose to make payments by semester we must receive second payment by the end of January or transportation service may no longer be available for your child.
If you are applying for the free pass you will need to provide most current 30 days proof of income. Verification of residency is required for all bus pass applications, both paid and free.
If your student(s) discontinue use of the transportation system, you must notify the Transportation Department return the bus pass to the department in order to close your account. A prorated refund will be issued for paid in full bus passes once the request for refund is completed by parents.

Transportation service will not be provided to students who do not have a current bus pass in their possession every day.
