Extended Learning Opportunities Department

The Extended Learning Opportunities Department (ELO), manages  the After School Academy, Campus Academy (at La Mesa Elementary),  Intersession programs, Summer School, Saturday School (middle school students only), Early Childhood Education and Family Support Services. The department's funding comes from both state and federal grants.

ASA Enrollment for 2015-16 is UNDERWAY!

Ask your ASA Site Director for information about the process as each site is different.  Students who have academic need are invited first, then students recommended by their teachers, and lastly, we invite students from the wait list. Get informed today!

After School Academy Program (Grant Based)

After School Academy is part of  the Extended Learning Opportunities Department in MPUSD.  It is an ASES funded program which means it is free of cost to the families.  This program is currently located at six elementary sites and two middle school sites. After School Academy Program (Fee Based)

The “After School Academic and Enrichment Academy Program” (ASCA) or the “Campus Academy”  program is offered to families exclusively at La Mesa Elementary School. This program offers after school care and support from 2:30 to 6:00 each everyday that school is in session. This Fee-Based Program, ($200.00/mo) has been developed based on a community need.
