Extended Learning Opportunities Department

The Extended Learning Opportunities Department (ELO), manages  the After School Academy, Campus Academy (at La Mesa Elementary),  Intersession programs, Summer School, Saturday School (middle school students only), Early Childhood Education and Family Support Services. The department's funding comes from both state and federal grants.

After School Academy Program (Grant Based)

After School Academy is part of  the Extended Learning Opportunities Department in MPUSD.  It is an ASES funded program which means it is free of cost to the families.  This program is currently located at six elementary sites and two middle school sites. After School Campus Academy Program (Fee Based)

The After School Campus Academy Program (ASCA) or the “Campus Academy”  program is offered to families exclusively at Monte Vista Elementary School open in the 2015-2016 school year. 

This program offers after school care and academic support from 2:30 to 6:00 everyday that school is in session and is fee-based (Please contact ASA for prices).
