MPUSD Fee-Based Preschool

NEW! This program is our fee-based preschool offered in Marina. This program is in addition to programs at Del Rey Woods, Marina Child Development Center, and Seaside Child Development Center. Children turning age 3 on the day of enrollment can start immediately! Cost is $850 for community members and $590 for employees of the Monterey Peninsula Unified School District.

Meet Jessica Boyce

Jessica Boyce is the new Early Childhood Education teacher for the Monterey Peninsula Unified School District’s fee-based preschool located in Marina. She recently completed her AST degree in Early Childhood Education at Monterey Peninsula College. Following her AST, she pursued a bachelor of arts in Early Childhood Education from Brandman University, and is currently pursuing her masters of arts in the same field.
“The moment that I took a child development course, I knew that this is the field that I wanted to be a part of,” says Jessica. “I believe that the best way to impact the world is to positively impact those who will take it over.”
When she is not busy engaging with parents and students, Jessica enjoys weight training at the gym, hiking, and relaxing with family and friends. She is an avid reader, loves sports – particularly football and the Green Bay Packers, and enjoys dancing around the house to a good song. As a nutrition enthusiast, she enjoys experimenting with her Paleo diet. Jessica is mom to a four-legged child, a 7 pound Chihuahua named Tiny.
